Hibo I.

Hibo I. (she/her) is an Ontario certified teacher with a Master of Teaching degree in Elementary Education from the University of Toronto Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE). She is in the process of completing a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma from York University in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher Education. She brings to Lightwell just over a decade of teaching experience and even more years of experience working with children and youth. Hibo has a worked as a special education teacher for most of her teaching career and has a background in supporting neurodivergent learners with developing literacy, numeracy, and life skills. She has professional interests in structured literacy, accessibility, and assistive technology.
